How I pick
A product stays on this site only if it keeps earning its place in our house.
It has to do at least one of three things: save time, end a daily fight, or give real relief. Looks don't count. Hype doesn't count. If the kids stop reaching for it, or I stop using it, it comes off the list.
The goal is the 30-Day Test: a thing has to survive a month of normal life before I'll tell you it works.
What I don't do
- No brand pays to be on a list.
- No made-up reviews or testimonials.
- Product descriptions say what a thing is and what it's for. Personal notes are mine.
Amazon prices and stock change often, so always check the product page before you buy.
