Some Screen Time Over the Holidays Is Not a Failure
For the mom feeling guilty about a film on the sofa.
The holidays are long. Longer than you remember them being.
At some point, there will be a film on a slow afternoon. Maybe two. Maybe a whole morning of a show you've now heard so many times you know the songs.
That's not a parenting failure. That's a tradition.
The balance that works
One thing off the screen every day. A walk, a game, a craft, a book before bed. That's it.
Do that, and the rest is fine.
Nobody is grading you. And if they are, they're not your people.
