Make the List Before the Sale, Not During It
White Friday and Black Friday are coming. A note on not getting swept along.
The sales are coming. The countdown timers, the "only 3 left", the deals that end at midnight.
Here's the thing. A sale is only a good deal on something you were already going to buy.
So make the list first. This week, on a quiet evening, with a cup of tea.
Three columns
- Who it's for.
- What they need, or would genuinely love.
- Why. One line. If you can't write the why, it comes off the list.
Then, when the sale arrives, shop the list. Not the timer.
You'll spend less, and every gift will have a reason behind it. Which is the whole point.
